Heather Leonardo is the owner of Heather Leonardo, LMHC, a psychotherapy practice serving adolescents and adults with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, perinatal mental health, and major life transitions. She takes a holistic approach, including mindfulness and meditation practices, in addition to talk therapy, and uses techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and trauma-focused treatment. She strives to create a calm and supportive environment that allows for open and safe communication.

Heather received her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Massachusetts, Boston in 2006 and has extensive experience in the mental health and substance use disorder fields, in residential, inpatient, and outpatient settings. She offers individual and group therapy in her practice.
